Great day today, got up late, read the papers and watched moto gp. Put my cookery course to good use and made us vegetable soup for lunch, followed by a roast dinner tonight- at long last have got roast potatoes sorted.
Weather held long enough for us to walk up the high street and pick up a birthday present for his sister-in-law. A spate of birthdays at the moment, his mum is in two weeks and my sister at the end of September . This one pits us in a bit of a quandary- it’s the same day as his next scan, the plan is the family get together in the evening. Not keen on committing to this though, as dependent on scan results , not sure if a party is a good idea.
I start work again tomorrow, feels just like first day at school, been 15 years since I went to a new company, hope they talk to me!
